Teamwork: Experience Design / HMI Development / Hardware

         Kinetix is an award-winning concept vehicle project developed for Toyota, created for the first student real-vehicle modification competition officially hosted by Toyota in China.
         Built on the GAC Toyota Bozhi 3X, the project centers on AI voice system development, 3D HMI design, and brain–computer interaction, exploring a Gen Z–oriented, multimodal driving experience, and was physically realized and exhibited at Toyota’s new car showcase.

          NeuroScape is an experimental XR project developed with Unity and Meta Quest, exploring brainwave-driven and AI-powered interaction in immersive environments.
By combining real-time EEG streaming with AI vision-based spatial recognition, the project integrates brain–computer interaction, adaptive XR space allocation, and brainwave-generated soundscapes, enabling work and meditation experiences to dynamically respond to users’ cognitive and mental states.

         Aqualux is a biomimetic underwater jellyfish robot designed for water-based sensory integration training for children.
         Inspired by Festo’s bionic jellyfish, the project features a self-designed waterproof structure and cable-driven tentacle system, combined with AI vision-based human pose recognition to dynamically control lighting behaviors and motion patterns, enabling gentle, interactive motor-skill training and parent–child engagement in aquatic environments.

         ListenU is an Android music application developed in Kotlin, focusing on social and emotional music sharing beyond simple playback.
         Through
collaborative challenge playlists and daily song prompts, the app transforms music sharing into a diary-like experience, where users’ written reflections are analyzed by an AI companion to offer personalized life suggestions and emotional support.

         By completing challenges with friends, ListenU turns everyday listening into a shared and long-term emotional connection.

Personal work

         AreoLepid is a biomimetic flapping-wing butterfly robot built with carbon fiber and lightweight fabric, controlled via a 2.4 GHz RF remote system and a custom flight control setup.
         Alongside the physical prototype, the project explores an interactive sensing and visualization system, using real-time environmental and human-detection data to generate responsive visuals, expanding the robot’s potential applications across simulation, interaction, and speculative scenarios.

         Temporal Killer is a VR action game that transforms immersive combat into embodied physical stretching and exercise.
         By introducing a
relativistic time-control mechanic, where the world slows down when the player clenches their left hand, the game encourages dodging, bending, and full-body movement under cinematic slow-motion aesthetics, reducing perceived fatigue while enhancing physical engagement and sensory immersion.

Teamwork: Web Design/ Development/ Game Design

         The project is a web front-end for an iGEM educational initiative, where I led webpage design and interactive animation development, crafting a dynamic homepage layout for engaging users.
Additionally, I co-developed “Gene Scissors”, a four-level mobile mini-game that teaches children the fundamentals of gene transcription through playful, interactive mechanics.

         Wing Chun: Back to the Roots is an immersive experiential film developed with Meta Quest and TouchDesigner, integrating Unity–TD communication to create dynamic, responsive visuals that guide users through the narrative.
By following interactive prompts, viewers enter a flow state and engage with characters, experiencing a long-form, immersive journey designed to showcase and promote Guangdong’s Wing Chun martial arts culture.
